major or program of study at UNCC is Athletic Training. The type of degree is a B.S or
Bachelors of Science degree
2. The major is specifically located in the Department of Kinesiology at the College of Health &
Human Services
3. The major of Athletic Training is closed. Some of the special requirements include completing
the Pre-Kinesiology prerequisite curriculum prior to applying to the major (B.S.), a minimum
prerequisite GPA of 2.5, completion of 36 hours of coursework, and a successful completion
(grade of C or better) of all Pre-Kinesiology required courses. For the rest of the academic
