In my topic there are definitely more than one perspective. As much as we
want a black and white world where you can only be on one side, that wont
happen. For example, if I asked you what your favorite TV show is I wouldnt assume
that you hated all the others. My topic is on racial Injustice. Now while this is a
broad topic most people would look at it only having two sides. Yes, racial injustice
exists and is a problem that needs to be dealt with, and people are complaining
racial injustice doesnt exist. However, it is a lot more complex than that. Thats one
thing I love about my topic because its broad its a lot more open to interpretation
and complex. I was able to find some other perspectives on the topic. One in
particular that Im interested in is the perspective of those born in the system and
take the injustices as the norm of society. For my assignment Im using Racial
injustice is bad and needs to be stopped, Racial injustice is not an issue in our
society, and Whats Racial Injustice? Isnt this how the world works? I want to be able
to grasp information from all different perspectives in my paper so I can state my
claim as successfully as possible. The only way to accomplish this is to open up my
topic to all perspectives and possibilities.
