The Mission of the Assignment
In this activity, you will learn the importance of the State we live in and its symbols. In careful detail,
you will be looking at California and the many symbols it carries, for example, the nickname, state bird,
state flower etc. This information will help you get to know your state and a deeper understanding of its
symbols.
