2. Some decisions in life are tough. Often we think there should be (or we wish there was) a
black and white answer. In class we discussed using The 6 Thinking Hats when faced
with a difficult problem.
In your group, each individual will be responsible for considering this issue from
certain thinking hat perspective (data, feeling, caution, creative, optimism) you and
your group members can decide how this is divided up. Each perspective must be
considered (someone group members have to wear two hats). Hint: consult your
PowerPoint slides for a refresher on the 6 Thinking Hats.

Here is your difficult problem: You have applied for two separate jobs.
Both employers have offered you the position and have given you 24-hours to
decide.
Job #1
Wage: $15.00/hour
Commute: 5 minute
Working Conditions: dirty, coworkers are all
smokers
Boss: Your boss is rude and demanding
Coworkers: You dont know anyone who
works there

Job #2
Wage: $12.20/hour (minimum wage)
Commute: 15 minutes
Working Conditions: clean, non-smoking
Boss: Your boss is friendly and accepting
Coworkers: You get to work with your
close friend

After describing/considering the 6 Thinking Hats perspectives,

which job are you

going to take?
