Title: Chapter one of Ellen Langers book The Power of Mindful Learning Source: Quote (Page# or Paragraph #)
Responses:
It is interesting to consider that emergencies I do understand what the author means by
may often be the result of actions taken in this, there is a connection of chain events that response to previous accidents(paragraph takes place. One thing might cause something #9) else to happen and then something else happens and you dont know how its going to end up. when we drill ourselves into a skill that becomes second nature , is that skill still done mindfully
I did this during, my football season I would
naturally bump into people in the hallway my accident, but still pretty rough. The eight years of football has taught me to be rough in cases of contact and thats just something that sticks with you no mater where you go in life.
The first chapter talked about how students
developed a way to memories information for the exam but then forget it right after this is not mindful learn.
I have a really good experience with this, Ive
memorize so many things for so many tests that I dont remember after the test, because its not important to me anymore. I lost the will to keep it in my mind, that why its important to do something you love so the information stays with you and you can learn something
In the case of the creative use of the
material, students with the written part had a much more creative understand of the subject than the control group.
I agree with this 100%, if I have to write
something for an exam, than Im going to try harder on it that a multiple chose test, I can cheat off of a multiple chose test, but a free
2 write is more of a creative way to see what the kids know.
