REFLECTIVE LEARNING JOURNAL

Week 5 (December 5 - 9)
1. What I have learned this week?

What I have learned this week is normal distribution. Normal distribution is also
known as normal curve it is frequently used as a mathematical model in
inferential statistics. Normal distributions are denser in the center and less dense
in the tails.

For example you are finding the area or the probability of 0.95.
Step 1: Draw a bell.
Step 2: Find the z score using the z table.
Step 3: When you found the z score of the given problem, shade the total area.

2. What did I think but was not able learned in the lessons?

I think I was not able to learn in the lesson is the proportions of areas under the
normal curve, because the lesson is not clear to me.

3. What did I do and how I think/feel about it?

At first I feel so bad and think that I cannot answer the questions because I did not
get the lesson but when I analyze, review and read the book I tried to do it and
answered it better.

4. How do I apply the topics I learned in real life?

The lessons that I have learned in our statistics and probability class can help me
in my real life, like when theres a research which the population or area is needed
to the research the normal distribution can help me so much.
