As I am launching a global product that services global fund managers, Ive had to liaise
frequently with my counterparts in London and New York, as well as clients in Australia.
This job has really helped me understand how to interact with other parts of the bank, clients
and third parties.

HNI Customers to retail segments. On the Institutional client group side we offer integrated
Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) and Securities and Fund Services (SFS) to local and
multinational corporations, financial institutions and the public sector. We are pioneers in
Trade Solutions with a significant market share and process more than 1 Million transactions
every year. In Cash Management Services, Citi command a considerable market share of
collections and payments throughputs with more than $ 2 Bn of physical cash handled across
363 locations annually. We are market leaders in SFS with 30% of FII flows. Capital Market
operations gives you an insight into the world of highly complex and regulated products
ranging from FX, Derivatives, Equities, Fixed Income, Structured products and so on.
Citi's Consumer Bank offers a range of financial products and services to meet the needs of
individuals and small organizations. Products offered include Retail Banking, Cards, Loans,

Transaction Services Operations

Operations Lead - If you lead trade operations, you will manage the trade transactions for
institutional clients, retail client and commercial banking clients at a branch level. If you
manage clearing, the role entails processing of cheque instruments ( including cheques
deposited by Citi customers, cheques received for debit to Citi customers from other banks &
cheque returns). The role also involves a high degree of interface with clearing units of other
banks and RBI / clearing houses. In cash management, you will manage daily operations of
the Cash Operations desk as per the bank's operating policies within committed TATs and
customer service standards.
Securities and Funds Services

Account Manager - Implements new clients Interface with clients for custody, fund
accounting and PMC transactions

Operations in Charge - Settlements of client trades, asset servicing of portfolio, FX


operations of fund flow and NAV computation of MFs and insurance companies

Capital Market Operations


Treasury Operations Officer - You would be required to manage the operations activities
related to Treasury Products - ensure a seamless operation's delivery platform for the
Treasury Businesses of the Citi, through timely and zero-defect transaction processing in the
Unit
Consumer Operations and Credit Initiation
1. Credit Initiation Manager - You would be responsible for credit underwriting of personal
loan applications. This would involve constant updates on market dynamics, strong interpersonal & people management skills, customer orientation and Good analytical &
communication skills.
2. Credit Operations Officer - The officers would be involved in authorizations of loans
approved by the credit initiation team. System knowledge, strong analytical skills, quick
learning and communication are important.
3. Cards Operations:

You could be in merchant operations, managing daily disbursement of merchant


payments across the country for all settled transactions.

In Interchange, you would manage daily settlement of credit card and debit card
transactions through associations and support business with technology upgradation to
adopt new regulatory changes. If you are part of dispute Management, you would
manage resolution of client and merchant disputes and safeguarding their interests.

As a channel manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end underwriting of


applications pertaining to the respective channels. If you are a merchant and prepaid
account manager, you will be managing the critical function of new merchant account
opening and issuance of cards which requires high agility given zero tolerance on

delays and errors. You can choose to be a part of the client servicing and controls
team, serving client needs with regard to queries, card renewals and reissuance.
4. Payments Processing - Within the payment processing unit, you could ensure payment
applications are processed as per requirements. Or as a part of account reconciliation and
proofing, you to take on the challenging role of reconciliation of accounts and proofing, given
the multiple payment sources, high volume of transactions and a very controlled accounting
framework. You could liaise with various units and identify process leakages in the query
management team.
Customer Care Unit
Operations Lead If you manage escalations, you would handle and respond to customer
complaints escalated to the regulatory body to ensure proper investigation and resolution. If
you are part of our regulatory team, you would liaise with business seniors to effectively
handle any regulatory cases or issues that arise.
Risk & Controls

Our Information Security Team ensures information security compliance and


governance across business units within Citi

As part of the Credit Risk Management Team, you would be required to ensure
administration of credit lines in compliance with credit policy and regulatory
guidelines

Our Independent Control Team conducts periodic reviews of outstanding financial


status which assists in the doing a health check of the balance sheet. You will be the
eyes and arms of senior management in ensuring a risk-free operating environment
through in-depth analysis and providing continuous support for Balance Sheet Control
items

As part of the Country CoB (Continuity of Business) team, you would be a one-stopshop for all CoB related matters and drive implementation of new regional and incountry initiatives on CoB

group technology function your domain would cover Core banking, Cash Management, Trade
Solutions, Treasury Solutions, Securities and Funds Services, Risk, Finance, Reporting and
Workflow platforms. As part of consumer banking group, your domain would cover Core
banking, Credit cards platform, Wealth Management, Mortgage, Internet & Mobile Solutions,
Front end channels like ATM, POS, IVR and Workflow platforms
