Agenda No 9. To discuss and decide about the Investment of excess Society funds in
Bank Fixed Deposits.
The Hon Chairman informed the members that Society has an amount about Rs 7.5
lakh in the Bank and asked for suggestions to utilize the funds in an appropriate
manner.
Resolution No 9: It was unanimously decided by the members that some of the funds
should be kept in Bank fixed deposit. The members also suggested that an amount of
Rs 5 lakhs to be kept in a Bank Fixed deposit. The members further added that Rs 2
Fixed deposits should be made (one of Rs 2 lakh and the second of Rs 3 lakhs). The
members also advised to make the fixed deposits either in Corporation bank or
Saraswat Bank at their Malad branches.
