members of society, struggling to survive but on hearing the opportunity of PDM (Parish Development
Model) we thought it was an opportunity to uplift our social life and for the betterment of our society at
large.

We are residents of Katabi- kitubulu village and highly looking forward to working with you effectively if
our application is put into consideration.

MIN 1 SM /O9/2023 OPENNING REMARKS

The acting chairperson opened the meeting with a word of prayer which was emphasizing the
success of the meeting. She requested us to work hard as a team for the success of our group.
Members were encouraged on the issue of saving and giving a report on any challenge they
experienced on the way instead of keeping quiet. The bank choice emphasized was post office since
it’s a government bank and accessible.

MIN 2 SM /09/2023 ROLL CALL OF ATTENDANTS

The Secretary madam roll called to confirm attendance of all registered members and 14 members
were in attendance which meant members constituted a quorum to vote and carry on with their
business of the day.

MIN 3 SM /09/2023 GROUP REGISTRATION

The outgoing chairperson introduced the proposal to register katabi-gombolola twezimbe group
enterprise so as to benefit from the Parish Development Model. Members unanimously supported
the motion and agreed to register it.

MIN 4 SM/09/2023 ELECTION OF LEADERS

Nominations were invited from the members present and members who accepted the nomination
came to contest and those who won became the group leaders and these are:

4. Committee member

MIN 5 SM /09/2023 CHAIRPERSON SPEECH

The chairperson madam thanked the members for putting trust in her and promised to work
tirelessly to see that the group is result oriented. She also promised to listen and work with very one
in the group.

MIN 6 SM/09/2023 ANY OTHER BUSINESS ARISING

Members needed to be assured more about saving because they were worried of their money going
into wrong hands. The members were assured that the bank is a government entity which was
therefore legit.

MIN 7 SM/09/2023 CLOSING REMARKS

The chairperson thanked all members for their attendance and participation in elections.

MIN 8 SM/09/2023 DEPARTURE

The secretary madam led members into a prayer and every one departed by 5:30pm
