The meeting was opened with a word of prayer by the chairperson and welcomed all the
members to the meeting. The chairperson encouraged all members to participate fully in the
formation of the group for future.

MIN3/01/2023 GROUP REGISTRATION

The chairperson and entire members agreed unanimously that the group shall raise the money
and be registered with department of social services in Garissa-after the discussion, this was
meant to facilitate the group undertaking with ease.
MIN 4/01/2023 OPENING OF BANK ACCOUNT
Members discussed to open the group bank account where after lengthy discussion: they agreed
to open a bank account with KENYA COMMERCIAL BANK GARISSA BRANCH.

MIN 5/01/2023 GROUP ACTIVITIES

The activities of the group will be basically to undertake community development project
income generating activities and they include the following.
1. Small scale business
2. Livestock marketing
3. HIV/AIDS awareness
4. Environmental conservation
5. Campaign against FGM.

Members discussed the constitution of the group and agreed upon the following that will govern
the group as per attached.

There being no any other business to discuss, the chairperson asked the members to actively
participate in the day to day activities of the group and therefore closed the meeting with a word
of prayer.

CONSTITUTION
1. The name of the group is BAMBA COMMUNITY PROJECT GROUP
2. Election of the group will be conducted after 1 year
3. The quorum during the election time should be 2/3 of the members
4. Any member has the right to contest for the post of the chair person
5. Any member who fails to attend three consecutive general meeting without any apology
will be deregistered
6. Any member who fails to pay monthly contribution of ksh. 200 ceases to be a member of
the group
7. When a member wants to leave the group he/she should give a month notice
8. The group is free for anyone to join who is 18 years of age and has an ID CARD
9. All members of the group must abode by the group laws and should keep record and
issues of the group as confidential
10. Every member must to all group activities and when one fails to do so will be fined
ksh.100
11. The chair person shall be chairing all the meetings
