Definition: 2.1
Let (N, +, .) be a non-empty set. We call
N a binear-ring if N = N1 N2 where N1 and N2
Definition 2.3:
Nd={ nx,y N 1 N 2 /n(x+y)=nx+ny} is the set
of all distributive elements of a bi-near ring N. A
bi-near ring N is called distributive, if N=Nd
i.e. N1 = N1 and N 2 = N 2 .

3.Weak Bi-ideals
Definition 3.1.1:
A bisubgroup B of a bi-near ring (N, +) is
said to be a weak bi-ideal if B3B.
Remark 3.1.2:
Every bi-ideal B of a bi-near ring is a weak biideal of a bi-nearr ing, but the converse is not true.
For, consider the bi-near ring N = N 1 N 2 where
N1={0, a, b, c} according to the scheme (0,0,2,1)
(p. 408 Pilz [1]).

N ' = N1' N 2' .Given B is a weak bi-ideal of a binear ring N = N 1 N 2 implies B3B. Let B=f(B).
Let bf(B). Then b3 = f(b)3 = f(b3) f(B3) f(B)
= B.i.e., B3 B. Thus every homomorphic image
of a weak bi-ideal is also a weak bi-ideal of
N = N 1 N 2 . Hence any homomorphic image
of a weak bi-ideal is also a weak bi-ideal of a binear ring N.

Proposition 3.1.6:
Let B be a weak bi-ideal of a bi-near ring
N.Then Bb and bB are the weak bi-ideals of a binear ring N where b,bB and b is a distributive
element of a bi-near ring N.
Proof :
Let B be a weak bi-ideal of a bi-near ring
3
N = N 1 N 2 implies B B.Clearly Bb is a
bisubgroup of (N, +).Then (Bb)3 = BbBbBb
BBBb B3b Bb.(Bb)3Bb then Bb is a weak biideal of N = N 1 N 2 . Hence Bb is a weak bi-ideal
of the bi-near ring N. Now to prove bB is a weak
bi-ideals of a bi-near ring N. i.e.. to prove bB is a
weak bi-ideals of N = N 1 N 2 . i.e.. to prove
(bB)3 bB.Since b is distributive, bB is a
bisubgroup of (N,+).Now (bB)3 = (bB)(bB)(bB)
bBBB = bB3 bB ( B 3 B) . Therefore bB
are weak bi-ideals of a bi-near ring N and Hence
Bb and bB are weak bi-ideals of a bi-near ring N.
Corollary 3.1.7:
Let B be a weak bi-ideal of a bi-near ring
N. For b, c B, if b is distributive, then bBc is a
weak bi-ideal of a bi-near ring N.
Proof :
Let B be a weak bi-ideal of a bi-near ring
N. If c B then by the proposition 3.1.6 (Bc) is a
weak bi-ideal of a bi-near ring N.Now Bc is a
Remark 3.1.9:
Let N be a left self - distributive S-bi-near
ring. If B = B3 for every weak bi-ideal B of a binear ring N, then L = {0}.
Proposition 3.1.10:
Let N be a left self-distributive S-bi-near
ring. Then B = NB2 for every strong bi-ideal B of a
bi-near ring N if and only if N is a strongly biregular bi-near ring.
Proof:
Assume that B = NB2 for every strong biideal B of a bi-near ring N. To prove N is a
strongly bi-regular bi-near ring. i.e., To prove for
each a N 1 N 2 , there exist b N 1 N 2 such that

Theorem 3.1.11:
Let N be a left self-distributive S-bi-near
ring. Then B3 = B for every weak bi-ideal B of N
if and only if NB2 = B for every strong bi-ideal B of
a bi-near ring N.
Proof:
Let N be a left self-distributive S-bi-near
ring. Assume that B3 = B for every weak bi-ideal B
of a bi-near ring N then by Proposition 3.1.8 N is
strongly bi-regular bi-near ring.Now by Proposition
3.1.10 NB2 = B for every strong bi-ideal B of a binear ring N. Conversely assume that NB2 = B for
every strong bi-ideal B of a bi-near ring N then by
Proposition 3.1.10 N is strongly bi-regular bi-near
ring.Now by Proposition 3.1.8 B3 = B for every
weak bi-ideal B of a bi-near ring N.
Proposition 3.1.12:
Let N be a left self-distributive S-bi-near
ring.Then B = BNB for every bi-ideal B of a binear ring N if and only if N is a bi-regular bi-near
ring.
Proof :
Assume that B = BNB for every bi-ideal
B of a bi-near ring N. To prove N is bi-regular binear ring. let aN then Na is a bi-ideal of N.
Since N is a S-bi-near ring, we get aNa=NaNNa.
i.e., a = n1an2a for some n1,n2 N 1 N 2 . Since N is
a left self-distributive bi-near ring, a = n1an2a2
Na2. Therefore for a,b N 1 N 2 , a= n1an2a2 =
ba2 where b = n1an2. Hence N is a strongly biregular bi-near ring and so by the Lemma 2.28, N
is a bi-regular bi-near ring. Conversely, Assume
that N is a bi-regular bi-near ring and B is a biideal of a bi-near ring N implies BNBB.Now to
prove BBNB. Let bB then b N1 N 2 . Since N
is a bi-regular bi-near ring, for each
b N 1 N 2 ,there exist a N 1 N 2 such that b = bab
BN1B(or BN2B) implies
b BNB.Hence

N = N1 N 2 .
To prove (iii) ( iv)
Assume that NxNy = Nxy for all x, y
N = N1 N 2 . To Prove N is a left bi-potent bi-near
ring. Let B1 and B2 be a pair of bi-ideals of a binear ring N. Then prove that B1B2 = B1B2 B2B1
for every pair of bi-ideals B1, B2 of a bi-near ring
N. Let x B1B2 B2B1. Then x = b1b2 and x =
b2b1. Now b1 = b1a1b1 and b2 = b2a2b2 for some
a1,a2 N 1 N 2 . Because N is a bi-regular bi-near
ring.From this x = b1b2 = b1a1b1b2= b1a1b2b1
B1NB1 B1. i.e., B1B2B2B1B1.Similarly we can
prove B1B2 B2B1 B2. Hence B1B2 B2B1
B1B2.On the other hand if x B1B2, then x = b1
= b2 for some b1 B1 and b2 B2.Since B1 is a biideal of a bi-near ring N and N is a bi-regular binear ring which gives
B1=B1N1B1(or
B1=B1N2B1)=BNB, and so b1 = b1nb1 for some
n N 1 N 2 . Since N is a left self- distributive binear ring, x = b1 = b1nb1 = b1nb1b1 = b1nb1b2
B1N1B1B2(or B1N2B1B2) B1B2.Therefore
B1B2B1B2. Similarly we can prove that B1B2
B2B1.Hence B1B2 = B1B2 B2B1 for every pair
of bi-ideals B1, B2 of a bi-near ring N.
To prove (v) (vi)
Assume that B1B2 = B1B2 B2B1 for
every pair of quasi-ideals B1 and B2 of a bi-near
ring N. Since every quasi-ideal of a bi-near ring is
also a bi-ideal of a bi-near ring N, we have Q1Q2
Page 1947
Let N be a left self - distributive S - binear ring. Then B = B3 for every weak bi-ideal B of
a bi-near ring N if and only if xN = xNx for all
xN.
Proof :
Assume that B = B3 for every weak biideal B of a bi-near ring N then by the Proposition
3.1.8, N is a strongly bi-regular bi-near ring and so
N is a bi-regular bi-near ring. Hence by the Result
2.31 and by the Lemma 2.32,en = ene for eE and
n N1 N 2 . Let yxN then y = xn1 = xaxn1.( N
is bi-regular).Since e = ax is an idempotent, axn1 =
axn1ax for all n1 N 1 N 2 .Thus y = xn1 = xaxn1 =
x(axn1ax)xNx and so xN xNx. Hence yxN
implies xN xNx.But trivially xNx xN and thus
xN = xNx for xN.Conversely assume that xN =
xNx for all x N1 N 2 . since N is a S -bi-near
ring, for x N 1 N 2 ,x xN= xNx which implies
that x is regular. Therefore N is a bi-regular bi-near
Page 1948
N1 N 2 .
Proposition 3.2.8:
Let N be a left self - distributive S-bi-near
ring and B = B3 for every weak bi-ideal B of N.
Then the following conditions are true.
(i) B R = BR RB for every bi-ideal B of N and
for every right N-bisubgroup R of a bi-near ring N.
(ii) B L = BL LB for every bi-ideal B of N and
for every left N-bisubgroup L of a bi-near ring N.
(iii) Q L = QL LQ for every quasi-ideal Q of
N and for every left N-bisubgroup L of a bi-near
ring N.
