Card Game ed ending pronunciation

To introduce the game, review the three ed ending pronunciations on the WB.

Distribute the cards, one per participant.

Participants look at their card and work out how to pronounce the word
correctly.
Tell the class that their task is to find other members of the class who have the
same ed ending pronunciation (/d/, /t/, or /id/)
All participants mingle, saying their words aloud.
Gradually, three groups should from as participants recognize each other by the
pronunciation of their ed ending.
