I am currently studying in my final year for a BA Single Honours in Animation at the

University of Worcester. My final year project revolves around producing an animated
documentary that focuses on disability and being a carer.
My nan is a 77-year-old elderly woman who looks after my 60-year-old uncle who
suffers from severe learning disabilities, epilepsy complex partial seizures with
secondary generalisation and is also seen under the autistic spectrum. In producing
this documentary I aim to raise awareness for disabilities whilst also providing an
insight into the current governments plans for helping those who are suffering
alongside those who care for those suffering.
I would love the opportunity to schedule an informational recorded interview with you
to learn more about the current governments policies, your personal opinions on the
topic of disability and where you see disability plans in the next five years.
I am aware you are very busy, so I assure you I will be brief taking up no more than
30 minutes of your time. I feel that you would be one of the most enlightening people
in this field that I could possibly interview.
