Julie's Blog: Mexico!

I'm just back from a month in Mexico with my parents. I had a terrific time it's an
amazing country! It's also enormous. I never realised that before I visited it!
We went all over the country. The longest trip we did was by train from Chihuahua to Al
Pacifico. It goes for 670 kilometres and it takes 13 hours! That was fun though because
we met some Dutch girls and we played cards. We're now friends on Facebook!
Later, we went to the mountains in the north of the country. It was absolutely freezing! I
didn't pack the right clothes before I left England, so I had to buy a new jacket. It's great
though, and I'm looking forward to wearing it at home.
My favourite part of the trip was Baja California. We went to the coast to go surfing and
to go whale watching. My mum and I were delighted when we did that. I've wanted to
go whale watching since I was little, so it was a dream to see them in real life. We took
a lot of photos that day.
Then, the final part was our journey home. Dad drove to the USA and we got a plane
from San Diego, but we were in the car for hours and I was absolutely exhausted by the
time we got to the airport. But what a trip! I've never had such a great experience in my
whole life!
