My teacher Dora Mendoza informed me about your current job opening as a CNA. I am
currently obtaining a CNA certification this February.
I am sufficiently qualified for the position as a CNA in your clinic. I am part of the Health science
Medical program at Jack E. Singley Academy in which I have obtained knowledge about
medical terminology, principles of health science, Nutrition and Wellness, anatomy and
physiology and CNA basics skills. While taking my CNA class I was able to attend C.C. Young
and do clinicals in which I put my skills to use and helped the CNAs with their duties and
interact more with the patients. In addition, Ive managed to keep a 4.0 GPA while still being
involved with extracurricular activities and clubs. Besides being involved with clubs I also did
some volunteer work for half of my time in high school. Where I was the lead leader and I
tutored kids that needed help with their homework at my old middle school. Being really involved
within my community and school has helped me obtain more motivation to pursue and continue
my life goals. I believe that I have received the best education and experience to make me the
best candidate for this job.
