A very good afternoon Mrs David Lee, friends and our dear Edmund. Today, we are
gathered here to bid farewell to Edmund. Come Monday, Edmund will be leaving us to
further his studies in Singapore. He is one of the lucky few who has been awarded the
ASEAN Scholarship. Although Singapore is not too far away, it is the thought of not having
Edmund in class that saddens all of us.
For many of us here in 4 Theta, we have known Edmund for four years, some even
longer. In those years, Edmund has proven himself to be a gem of a friend. Never one to
refuse to help, Edmund has always been reliable and trustworthy. That is why he is entrusted
with so many responsibilities in school; hes a school prefect, captain of the volleyball team
and president of the Chess Club, just to name a few. Under Edmunds leadership, the school
debating team has emerged state champion two years in a row.
However, what most of us here will remember of Edmund is the joker in him. No class is
ever dull with him around. I remember one April Fool
