Submission of drawings
Following drawings shall be prepared and submitted for approval.
General arrangement drawing indicating overall dimensions of all components
Concrete foundation plan and load details of all equipment.
Complete electrical drawings.
Instrumentation control circuit drawings and layout.

The Pump sets shall be installed on the concrete foundation block constructed by the department
as per the drawings submitted by the Supplier within one month of placing the purchase order.
The Contractor shall ensure that the foundation bolts are correctly embedded and the Pump &
engine are properly leveled before grouting of foundation bolts.
Pump & engine assembly shall be factory aligned. If necessary site alignment is to be
done by skilled fitter.
On completion of entire installation, the contractor shall test these pumps and the results
shall tally with the specifications and performance curves.
Vibration & noise level of the pump unit shall be with in acceptable limit of ISO 2372, IS
11727

Painting
After complete installation and testing, pumps, accessories and fittings shall be given two
coats of enamel paint of approved make of 0.076 mm thickness each over a coat of primer.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 1 No. of pump coupled to ~ 37KW motor
and 2 Nos. of pumps coupled to ~ 72 HP air cooled diesel engine with gear box, having
capacity of 90 m3/hr @ 85 m head, and in a common base plate along with suitable
accessories viz., , coupling guard, foundation bolts, companion flange, battery, fuel tank,
gauge panel and control panel.
Exhaust piping and cladding including supply of bends based on site requirement.
Installation of control panel and control wiring.
Supply of the required first charge of lubricants, fuel, distilled water for battery and
other consumables.
Painting the equipments as per the approved color code.

9.1 Necessary civil works for the installation of engine driven fire fighting pump set and
fuel tank. Tenderer shall furnish detailed foundation drawing within one month of
placing the purchase order.
9.2 Inter connecting water piping
9.3 Laying of power cable up to control panel.
9.4 Power and water for erection, testing and commissioning work will be provided at no extra
cost.
