Soraya
Passion

No, Soraya. Not even close, I said. Nothing you

said changes anything. I want us to marry,
(Hosseini 174).

This quotation signifies the pure love that Amir and Soraya have. It
proves that even after hearing Sorayas deepest secret about her
rebellious past, Amir looks past that because he truly loves her. In
addition, it shows the honesty that they share in their relationship. It
took a lot for Soraya to share this with Amir but she felt as though she
had to tell him to make certain that it would not change his perspective
of her, which it did not because of the depth of his love for her.

Holding Hands
I chose a picture of holding hands because I believe that this shows that
even the smallest of touches can mean so much to someone. Soraya
and Amir hold hands often in the book to show their affection towards
each other as well as to have a sense of comfort from one another.
When Amirs father dies Soraya is there to comfort him and by holding
his hand it illustrates that she will always will be there for him.
