Theme: Truth For those blinded by obtaining wealth and fame/ people who have lost their way

Passage: Proverbs 28: 6- Better to be poor and walk in integrity than rich and crooked in ones
ways Proverbs 28:11- The rich are wise in their own eyes, but the poor who are intelligent see
through them (NABRE)

Reflection: Often times we let our greed, and selfishness get in the way of following through to
our faith. We must learn how to be a true Christian and understand how to get through life
seeing the integrity and wisdom in the less fortunate, and to see the wrong and confusion in the
rich. As good Christians and good people, we must be able to see the truth being everyone, and
ignore the economic status that often blinds us from the integrity and truth behind others. It is
better to be poor, and have your pride, then to be rich and do bad things.

Prayer: Dear God,

Help us to find true wealth in happiness and love
Teach us true morals that lead us to happiness
Show pardon to those whom have lost their way
Give attention to those who feel alone in a position of fame
Lead us to a life of happiness and fullness when we have lost our ways
Correct our strayed path when we have made a wrongful decision
Help us see the truth and wisdom in our lives.
Amen.
