CARNIVAL

Carnival is, quite possibly, the festival that most people celebrate and enjoy all
over the planet. They are days of dancing, costumes and lots of fun. First of all,
we are going to talk about history. Secondly, we will talk about this celebration
in an English country. Finally, we are going to express our opinion of this event.

Carnival is a cultural event in which all the diverse cultures and folklore of the
Colombian Caribbean Coast are expressed, as well as the most varied local
cultural traditions, popular music and dances. It is the most genuine aspect of
the city and every year attracts locals and tourists.

Carnival is celebrated during the days before the beginning of lending, a period
of fasting for many Christians. In the past, Carnival was a feast where meat was
eaten for the last time before Lent began. At the end of the 20th century,
Carnival became a pagan festival. Carnival, over time, has become a public
celebration that combines disguises, music, parties and parades through the
streets. Eventually, Carnival has become a popular party.

For us Carnival is a very fun festival because we can disguise ourselves how
we want and enjoy ourselves with our friends. The funniest part of this festival is
when we get to school during carnival and we find all kinds of disguises like
mushroom, bee, pig, cow, koala ...

We think that having this festival was a very good idea because it is one of the
most creative festivals. Every year we look forward to this great day. Wherever
you go, Carnival is a festival to have a great time and be happy. It is what we
do.
