Welcome to SoftMaker Office for Windows! This document contains important
notes about this software.

SoftMaker add-ons for Thunderbird
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some versions of SoftMaker Office ship with a version of the e-mail
program Thunderbird that has been enhanced by SoftMaker.
All enhancements are made through add-ons. This has the advantage that
you can remove any add-on that you do not want to use (go to the Tools
menu and select the Add-ons command).
Overview over the SoftMaker add-ons:

1. SoftMaker eM Client Importer
This add-on adds an import function to Thunderbird that lets you import
e-mail databases of eM Client 5 and 6, the e-mail solution that SoftMaker
included with SoftMaker Office Professional 2012.
You can run the import function by going to the Tools menu and choosing
the command "Import e-mails from eM Client" and following the
instructions given by the import wizard.
As soon as the import from eM Client has finished, you can remove the
import filter from Thunderbird again. Do this with the Tools/Add-ons
command.

2. SoftMaker Enhanced UI
This add-on makes a number of changes to the user interface of
Thunderbird. It makes the window title bar and the menu bar visible
again, and shifts the document tabs below the toolbar again.
Additionally, it provides improved functions for moving e-mail
messages and for navigating in mail folders: If you click on the
"Move to" icon (shortcut key Shift+M) or the "Go to" icon (shortcut
key Shift+G), you can enter a partial folder name (such as "bus"
for "Business"), and Thunderbird will show all folders whose name
contains this text. This lets you pick the desired folder quickly.

3. SoftMaker Theme
This add-on replaces the black & white icons on the toolbar with
colorful icons.

4. Faster autocompletion of e-mail addresses
If you have a large address book, Thunderbird 31 has problems with
autocompletion of e-mail addresses in the "Compose e-mail" window
on some systems. You will either notice a delay of up to several
seconds or even incomplete completion of recipient names.
This add-on restores autocompletion to the way Thunderbird 24 did it,
which did not have such issues.
