Differentiation (modification) Students are given a list of reasons and they need to put
them as a reason for or a reason against
Differentiation (modification) Students are given some reasons and they need to put
them as a reason for or a reason against and come up with some of their own reasons

Differentiation (all) Students work in groups, some groups only complete the reasons
for and some complete reasons against. Groups are then mixed up and students
discuss what they found and complete the incomplete boxes after discussion

Differentiation (extension) Students are to give 2 reasons that are note directly from
the text
Differentiation (extension) In each box students are to rank the reasons and also
explain why each has been given that rank
Differentiation (extension) Write a response outlining what would need to change to
reach a more favourable/different conclusion
