Heard of the Russian revolution and wonder what truly happened.

Well that what

Animal farm covers. The author George Orwell wrote this book because its what he
thought about the Russian revolution. In the book the animals rebel and they create a
society. In the book they the lower class suffer more and more because as societies get
closer and closer to their ideal most of the people will suffer more and more like what
happen to certain animals in Animal farm.

With each body paragraph, state reason first, followed by evidence. Then, justify and
explain your evidence. How does this connect to your thesis/claim?

The frist reason is that the pigs are using corrupt powers of manipulation to change
the thinking of the other animals ,and helps build up a pigs image (Napoleon).
That evening Squealer explained privately to the other animals that
Napoleon had never in reality been opposed to the windmill. That, he said, was
Comrade Napoleon's cunning. He had SEEMED to oppose the windmill, simply
as a manoeuvre to get rid of Snowball, who was a dangerous character and a bad
influence The animals were not certain what the word meant, but Squealer
spoke so persuasively, and the three dogs who happened to be with him growled
so threateningly, that they accepted his explanation without further questions.
This one shows how squealer backs up Napoleon when he chased away snowball. It also
is corrupt due to the fact that he chased away snowball ,so he can take the power without
another pig that can also backstab him. Which makes him the leader for the animals
because he is the only big leader pig in the farm. The other thing is that the other animals
accepted his explanation without further question which is them getting manipulated.
Poem entitled Comrade Napoleon, which was composed by Minimus
Napoleon approved of this poem and caused it to be inscribed on the wall of the
big barn, at the opposite end from the Seven Commandments. It was surmounted
by a portrait of Napoleon, in profile, executed by Squealer in white paint.... It
had become usual to give Napoleon the credit for every successful achievement
and every stroke of good fortune.
This would help build up napoleons image ,and trick the animals to believing
that
Napoleon is the right leader for the people ,and that they should trust everything that
napoleon says. This will make them suffer later in the book while the pigs get what they
want ,and get live more comfortably.

The next reason is that the pig use dogs to create fear for the other animals that
make sure they dont stand up against Napoleon.
so the tale of confessions and executions went on, until there was a pile of corpses lying
before Napoleon's feet and the air was heavy with the smell of blood, which had been
unknown there since the expulsion of Jones.
This situation for the animals makes them have a experience with death ,and see how
Napoleon rules. This is creates fear of going against napoleon ,and the animals would
have the fear of death if they ever did. growling dogs roamed everywhere, and when
you had to watch your comrades torn to pieces after confessing to shocking crimes. There
was no thought of rebellion or disobedience in her mind. She knew that, even as things
were, they were far better off than they had been in the days of Jones But still, it was
not for this that she and all the other animals had hoped and toiled.(chapter 7)
This is also a fear tactic because the dogs did the execution and tears off animals
necks of the traitors ,and creates the fear for the other animals for them getting killed
from the dogs. It also shows that the other Animals would have the fear of death because
of their comrades deaths. It also shows that the Animals do not try to think about
rebellion or disobedience because of the executions.
This is more evidence that the animals suffer more as Napoleon takes rule over the
animals while also the other animals themselves dont rebel because of how they been
mapiationed. The winter was as cold as the last one had been, and food was even shorter.
Once again all rations were reduced, except those of the pigs and the dogs.
This shows a way how the animals suffer except the pigs and dogs because they get less
and less food to eat. While the higher ups like the pigs and the dogs get to keep eating
their normal rations. They are taking Boxer to the knacker's!" (chapter 9)In the book
Boxer gets killed by going to the knackers/horse slaughter. The reason why is that the
pigs see no reason to keep him around because Boxer is old and wont be of use. The pigs
also get money for this ,and get to buy what they want which was a box of whiskey. This
is an example of the pigs killing an animal for them to improve their lives.

Conclusion should address why this matters and provide a new thought for the reader to
consider.
This book may have been made to tell the reader that if they want to go for the
ideal they will be doomed to repeat history and others will be doomed relive it. This
means that this books lessons matters because society that go for a ideal will need true
leaders like snowball and the people to check/stand up to their leader to make sure they
aren't corrupt/ get to much power. Though who would be that leader be for your ideal?
