Objective
I am a hard worker, quick thinker, and have a quirky disposition and persevering spirit. Anything I do, I give my
absolute best, and I am always ready for a challenge. I learn from mistakes and enjoy working with and learning
from my peers. I aspire to become a registered dietitian and combine my love of nutrition with my desire to help
others.

Volunteer & Extracurricular Involvement

n UF Teachning Assistant: (Summer 2016-Fall 2016) Help facilitate learning under Prof. Von-Castel
Roberts for Fundamentals of Human Nutrition class, lead discussion/activity for a group of 15 students every
week

n UF Shands Volunteer/Shadow: (Fall 2015-current) volunteer in clinical nutrition office, formulate

menus/diet plans, view gastric by-pass patient counseling, shadow clinical RD in oncology unit

n Interned at University Of Florida Sports Nutrition Office: (July-August 2015) help create diet
plans, made athletes smoothies, created flyers/pictures/advertisements for events within organization

n Research Assistant in Nutritional Study: (May 2015-current) help design and code online
Wikibook based on Fundamentals of Human Nutrition, help students in class input information, proofread
information

n Member of Food Science and Human Nutrition - University of Florida Chapter: (Fall 2015-
current) participate in fundraising, market for organization, attend meetings and various club events

current) Mentor for incoming foreign exchange students Provide basic support and information on life in
America and life in college

Work
n Swamp Restaurant Hostess/Food runner: (Paid: Fall 2016 -current) greet/seat customers, bring
food to tables, work with managers planning upcoming events and menu specials

n UF Shands Hospital Formula room technician: (Paid: January 2016-June 2016) work in
enteral nutrition department, mix formula for patients receiving their caloric intake via GI tract, mix infant
formula, deliver to patients

n Goodbike Gainesville: (Paid: Fall 2015) Sales associate, website design, minor bicycle mechanics

n Veterinary Technician Assistant and Kennel Worker for Pines West Animal Hospital (Paid:
2010-2014, currently working seasonal): assisted in surgeries, administered medicine/vaccinations,
fed/bathed patients, etc.

n Subway employee (Paid: Fall 2013-Fall 2015): Worked register, made sandwiches, prepared food, etc.
