Welcome Spanish students!! Me llamo seora Lasee. I am so happy to be your

Spanish teacher. I look forward to a great year together.

This will be my eighth year as a Spanish teacher and fourth year in Ashwaubenon.
I have a major in Spanish, and certification to teach K-12 that I earned from St.
Norbert College. My immersion Spanish speaking experience came while living
abroad for 6 months in Valencia, Espaa enrolled in the University of Virginia
Hispanic Studies Program. I hope that you are as excited to be studying Spanish
as I am to be a part of your childs world language journey. Again, welcome to
Spanish Class!!!

Second graders will receive 90 minutes of instruction in three 30 minute sessions
per week. We will work on learning basic Spanish such as counting to 50, colors,
animals, body parts, clothing, shapes, describing weather, days of the week, telling
time, months of the year, the Spanish alphabet, and family. We will be reviewing
and expanding on the things we learned last year. It is sure to be a fun filled year!

At the beginning of each unit of study I will post a unit letter on my website that
lists the vocabulary words we will be learning and should be able to recognize and
use in speech. You can access this through the Valley View website by choosing
departments and then clicking on world language. You can also go directly to the
website at VVSpanish.weebly.com. This link will also be found in the Wednesday
weekly when we end one unit and begin another.
