Good afternoon everyone.

Today we all are present here to discuss upon Role of youth in empowerment of
Nation.
First of all I would like to congratulate you all on this auspicious occasion of 68 th
anniversary of our independence.
So independence is the word. We youth live by this word. We perceive
independence as our birth right. So in all this day is very significant for youth.
Today we are talking here on issue of empowerment of nation. There are various
sources to achieve this goal. And youth is one of those sources. Interestingly, youth
has highest share among others. So as number increases responsibility also
increases.
Among human beings youth are ones who are aged 15-60, going by UN numbers.
They are often said to be ones having large ocean of untapped potential. And in my
field power electronics, word potential has lot of significance. If a material is able to
develop potential, it can drive any electrical machine in this world. So you can say
youth can drive almost any society in the world. But that is partial truth. If you want
to run a particular society, you have to develop the youth keeping in mind that
particular society. There is no universal process.
So now provided that we have youth developed in the form suitable for
empowerment of country like ours. The basic question is what the predetermined
role of such human disguised gold is? How we are going to exploit it?
The answer to this important question lies in vision. Yes we need to provide vision to
this untapped potential. We need to safeguard this untapped potential. We have to
be powerful enough to handle this untapped highly volatile potential. And only since
our country is unable to achieve this objectives or say partially able to achieve
these objectives we have not reached the position we are deserved to be, despite
having presence of cumbersome amount of youth in nation.
As is said by someone Youth of today are elders of tomorrow and Youth of nation
are trustees of posterity. This statement is very important in pursuit of todays
discussion. Whatever role is embarked on todays youth that will affect their
productivity in their adulthood.
Thus all in all role of youth is to do following few things:
1. Acquire skills to bring back growth to country by various innovations.
2. They should be acquainted with various projects and they should help
government in implementing them under the ambit of societal development.
These 2 roles if performed enthusiastically, we can be damn sure of nations future.
These roles contain in themselves such huge objectives that they can effectively
shape todays youth untapped potential and unify their vision for larger good.
Also society should also needs to play its part by insulating youth from corruption
from corrupt leaders.
But in the end I would like to make one simple confession. There is a very curious
obstacle To find a young guy who is neither wit in his own eye nor a fool in worlds
eye, is very difficult.
But once again nation building was never a simple task.
