Congratulations on receiving our Dean's Meritorious Scholarship. I am so very pleased that

you have decided to take advantage of this honor and accept the College of Visual and
Performing Arts' scholarship in the amount of $1000 for the 2015-2016 academic year.

On behalf of the faculty of the Department of Theatre and Dance, I want to wish you the best in
your study at Winthrop University. This scholarship has been awarded to you because of our
faith in your talent and strong potential to succeed in our program.

Additionally, the Department of Theatre & Dance will host a reception to honor you and the
other 2015-2016 scholarship students. The reception will occur on Saturday, April 1T,2015 in
the lobby of Johnson Theatre immediately following the play Leading Ladies. At the reception
