Warm-up
1.Ask for the students favorite writer and books.

2.Project PPT on the board (a picture of J.K.Rowling and the covert of


Harry Potter book)

3.Ask the Ss if they recognize her and what is her most famous book.
4. Ask the Ss if they like Harry Potter.

5. Tell the students they will read a text about Harry Potters author.

1. Ask the Ss to complete a chart with the past tense of the verbs from the text.
Which are regular? and Which are irregular?

2. Ask the Ss Is J.K Rowling her real name? Was she a wealthy person since the
beginning? Lets find out if what you say is right or not.
