After receiving my diploma and graduating high school, I plan on attending Marshall
University in the fall of 2017. I plan to major in pre-health professions for my first
year, then apply to the nursing program at St. Marys Hospital. I plan on attending
for four years and obtaining a bachelor degree in nursing.

Some extracurricular activities that have prepared me for the future are babysitting,
church, and cooking. When babysitting, you have to be observant of everything
around you and you have to take on the responsibility of someone else other than
yourself. When attending church, you learn new values and beliefs that shape you
into the person you are. Cooking teaches you to be patient and also helps you to
extend your attention span because you cannot get distracted when cooking.

I would be an excellent candidate for this position because I am a fast learner and I
am always willing to take on challenges. I took on the challenge of getting a job
while still attending high school and my grades are still the same and my work
motivation is high. I am also a team player and work well with anyone and
everyone. I have never had a problem with any co-workers since I have been
working.

finished while a student at Nitro High School. I look forward to meeting with you in
person and sharing with you the valuable skills I learned while taking these business
classes during my high school years.
