PINE CHOCO REVEL BARS

Preparation Time: 10 minutes


Cooking Time: 4 hours and 17 minutes

Ingredients

2/3 cup butter, softened

1 cup sugar, brown

1 pc egg

3/4 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/4 cup flour, all-purpose

3/4 tsp baking soda

1 cup oatmeal

1 Tbsp cashew nuts

1 can DEL MONTE Crushed Pineapple (227g), drained

100 g choclocate, semi-sweet, grated

1/2 cup condensed milk, sweetened

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease an 8 x 11-inch pan. Set aside.


2. Cream butter and brown sugar. Add egg, beating well after addition.
Add vanilla. Set aside.
3. Combine flour and baking soda. Add to the margarine mixture. Mix
well. Fold in oatmeal and cashew nuts. Press 3/4 of this mixture at the
bottom of the prepared pan. Spread DEL MONTE Crushed Pineapple
over oatmeal crust. Set aside.
4. Melt chocolate in a double boiler. Blend in condensed milk. Pour over
crust. Cover and freeze for 15 minutes.

5. Divide remaining oatmeal mixture into 6 portions. Press each portion
onto pan to partly cover the chocolate topping. Some parts of the
chocolate should peek through. Bake for 35 minutes. Cool and chill for
3 hours. Cut into bars.

500 g puso ng saging/banana heart, trimmed and cut lengthwise into 2

2 cup water

1 tsp salt

2 Tbsp oil

1/3 cup garlic, crushed

2/3 cup onion, red, chopped

1 pc siling haba, sliced

3 Tbsp soy sauce

350 g tuna fillet, chopped

1 pouch DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce (115g)

Preparation

1. Boil puso ng saging in water and salt for 20 minutes. Drain, discard the
hard middle portion, then chop finely. Set aside.
2. Saut garlic, onion, and sili. Add 3 tablespoon soy sauce, puso ng saging,
tuna, DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce, and salt to taste. Cook over
high for 10-15 minutes while stirring.

Sinigang na Hipon Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb shrimp (with head)

1 bunch water spinach (kangkong), cut in 3 inch length

1 cup string beans (sitaw), cut in 2 inch length

2 pieces medium-sized tomatoes, quartered

1 large white onion, quartered

8 cups water

1 pack sinigang mix (tamarind soup base mix), about 1.4 ounce

2 pieces banana pepper (or long green pepper)

3 tbsp fish sauce (patis)

Preparations

1. Pour the water in a large cooking pot and bring to a boil

2. Add onions and tomatoes and cook until texture becomes soft

3. Put-in the sinigang mix and simmer for 2 minutes

4. Add the banana pepper and string beans and simmer for 3 minutes

5. Add the shrimps and fish sauce then simmer for 5 minutes

6. Add the water spinach, turn the heat off, and cover the pot. Let stand
for 5 minutes.

7. Serve hot. Share and Enjoy!
