I am Md. Moshiur Rahman and I am currently in my last semester at North South University. Throughout
my journey at this institution, I have gathered both basic and in depth knowledge on how to conduct a
business smoothly. My area of concentration is Human Resource Management which has a demand in the
current job trend in the country. Given my knowledge and skill sets, I would expect a salary of 10,000 BDT
now being an undergraduate student and 30,000 BDT upon my graduation.

I expect to get 10,000 BDT now based on quite a few considerations. Firstly, as I am done with most of the
courses, I have gathered almost all the basic knowledge required to work for an organization. As I am
majoring in Human Resource Management, the first thing that is needed for me to do is working in a team
environment. A human resource manager must know how to work well with other people and manage people
well so that there are no conflicts. Through my group works I have realized that I am very good group
worker and often had the role of the group leader because of my inherent skill of working and managing
people. I have done an HRPP on a textile company for one of my courses, have in depth knowledge of
employee and labor relations of 4 different industries, know about the international human resource
management issues and trends have done lots of cases involving strategic HRM and many other field-work
experiences. However, I still have some academic study left which includes proper knowledge about the
compensation theories as it is a basic requirement for any human resource management job currently. I do
not know the current salaries and wages of people working in different positions of an organization and the
surveys conducted throughout the course associated with this will help me get a clear picture of salary
ranges, trends and structure. Moreover, I still do not have firsthand experience of working in an office or in a
factory and the internship program will give me an opportunity to do so. So, based on these strengths and
weaknesses, I would expect a salary of 10,000 BDT being an undergraduate.

Now, upon my graduation, I would expect a salary of 30,000 BDT. I would be graduating by next semester
with hopefully a CGPA of around 3.3. Currently my CGPA is around that number and hopefully I can maintain
that till my graduation. Considering recent trends, my academic performance is quite good and will make me
eligible to apply for almost every job related to my specialization. My academic performance is enhanced with
a lot of theoretical and practical knowledge, teamworks, case solving, knowledge about different industries,
HRPP, business simulations etc. I will be a certified graduate with concepts of basic business operations along
with my area of specialization which includes HRPP, strategic human resource management, labor relations,
skill development, international HRM, compensation theories etc. I am an excellent team-worker, often leading
in the projects. I will also be done with business simulation that will enhance my skills of managing people and
business. I have been mentored by some of the most reputed and wisest minds throughout my academic
journey. Also, North South Universitys teachers of Human Resource Management are responsible for creating
one of the best pools of HRM professionals in the country. Also, I will be done with my internship in the
process and have experience of working in an office or factory environment to apply my knowledge there.
Also, the current market conditions and my surveys on fresh graduates has also strongly convinced me to
demand a salary of 30,000 BDT given my academic knowledge and skill set.
