ISSN Project Reflection

The purpose of our project was to try to inform the students in our class
about the cancers that can exist on a certain Country. My first thought on
the project was that it was a bit of a challenge for me, we had to make sure
that all of our information was accurate and that we would have to make
sure that our work was neat. My goals were that we could all work together
in order to get a good result and that we could all take a part in helping out.
One Of the decisions I had to make was volunteering to do the PowerPoint,
luckily one of my other partners from our group help me make the
PowerPoint. The Day of the presentation it was my responsibility to get the
flash drive to school. One of my goals that I accomplished was making sure
that everybody was on track where they were supposed to be. Another
decision that me and my fellow teammates had to make was agreeing on
who was going to do what for the project.
While doing this project I learned many things. I learned that melanoma
skin cancer is a cancer that can develop anywhere on your body. I learned
that melanoma skin cancer is most common in people with dark skin. I
learned that melanoma skin cancer is caused mainly by intense occasional
UV exposure. And I also learned that melanoma is one of the most serious
type of skin cancer's..
I investigated the world by Learning about a different country. I
communicated ideas by Sharing with my fellow teammates my thoughts
about the topic that we were assigned and listening to what others have to
say about the topic as well. And by also Sharing with my biology class what
we had learned about our topic. I took action by using reliable resources to
investigate more about my project. I recognized and weighed perspective
as I investigated. I know it matters in today society because lots of people
who are detected with this type of cancer get affected in many ways.
