    Lesson Goal:
    After our lesson, students will have knowledge of the background of Walt
    Whitmans life.

    Assessment:
    True & False trivia game at the end of our lesson, students will interact by
    moving to either side of the room.
    Activity Description

    Slideshow 11 page slideshow of some basic facts about Whitmans life and history

    Video Quick 3 minute video of Whitmans top 20 quotes from his work

    Poem Leaves of Grass


    Reading
    (BACKUP)

    T&F Game We will ask questions on things we mentioned in the slideshow and quiz
    students true and false style
