Causes of Haitian revolution

Haitian revolution is the great revolution in eastern hemisphere. This


revolution has a lot of causes. French Revolution in 1789, it makes
inspiration to Haitian slaves, because they realize the Declaration of the
Rights of Man must have in Haiti. Haitian was not submitting their status
because they work hard for French, but Haitian didnt get any benefit.
Another reason of causes Haitian revolution is French increase tariff of
item that imported into the colony. So, Haitian needs a freedom for a
better life.

Crisis of Haitian revolution

Haitian didnt like to be a slave; they always try to make a freedom.


Haitian revolt to free colony and that brings to against to the French many
times, then change policy of country. L'Ouverture is a leader of ex-slaves
army and his army is the biggest slave army in the western hemisphere.
Slave army didnt fight with only French; they fight with country that has
slave system such as England.

Outcome of Haitian revolution

Finally, after a battle with forces from Britain and other countries
that wanted to restore slavery. Haiti was victorious. The abolition of
slavery and declared as an independent country under the rule of former
slaves. However, in 1825 the French government forced Haiti to pay.
