General Objective

Within 24 hours of duty, the student nurse will be able to promote and provide to
her patients a competent, standard quality nursing care by ensuring the ethical standard
in the nursing school and as prescribed in the nursing code.

Specific objectives
Within 8 hours of duty, the student nurse will be able to gain skills with accuracy
in providing nursing care such as:
1. Assessment of medically ill patients.
2. Accuracy in taking the vital signs and the need of continuous
monitoring.
3. Taking ECG and perform CPR correct and appropriate.
4. Correct administration of medications for the specific patient.
5. Correct placing of Foley Catheter and performing of Nebulizing and Suctioning.
6. Perform the CPR correctly and appropriately.
