This scoring guide would be appropriate for Shawn. He is

currently on an IEP and is performs better on tests when there are

fewer questions and he has more time to complete them. This

scoring guide only requires Shawn to write one cultural food and

one supporting detail instead of two that the regular scoring guide

requires.

Samantha, the other student that I observed, will be able to

be scored with the regular scoring guide. She does well in

Language Arts and will be able to write the two cultural foods as

well as two supporting details for each one.
