Description of the artifact and how it meets the standard and criteria:

The artifact that I chose to include to demonstrate my competency in standard 4E is the

list of activities for the culture fair project the students could choose from for their
activity. This meets the criteria because it gives the students the choice on what activity
they will present for their country. The students use their interests, prior knowledge, and
life experiences to help them choose what activity to do.

Reflection on the artifact:

Giving the students choices on how to present their knowledge of the content is a great
strategy to use in the classroom. I believe this because it gives the students more
ownership in their own learning. They really got into their activities because they were
doing it in a way that interested them. For a lot of the students this was their favorite
part of the project.
