I. Course Introduction: Welcome to 7th Grade Civics! This
class is designed to inform and educate students on the fundamental elements of the United States Government. Student learning will be assessed through tests, quizzes, projects, participation, and homework. Throughout the year we will focus on the following units:

II. Advice for Students:
a.) Follow Mr. Doigs Policies (See Handout)!
b.) Actively participate in classroom discussions and activities! c.) Come to class each day with a positive attitude! d.) Be in class; the easiest way for a student to fall behind in class is through poor attendance. e.) Ask questions: my classroom is for learning; if you are unsure of anything, please ask! f.) Finally, HAVE FUN!!! We are going to work hard, learn all kinds of new information, and have fun doing it!
