Objectives
After the lesson, students are expected to:

Identify the elements of music.

Sing a song applying the dynamics, tempo, melody and form of music.

Know the meaning of tempo, dynamics, melody and form.

II. Subject Matter


TOPIC: ELEMENTS of MUSIC (tempo, dynamics, melody and form)

Materials:
1. laptop
2. projector

III.Procedure

A. Daily routine

1. Prayer.
2. Putting Class into Order.
3. Checking of Attendance.

B. Reviewing of the previous lesson.

C. Motivation

D. Presentation/Discussion.

Have the students participate in the discussion of what music is and its importance to human
beings.

Interactive discussion of the first four elements of music (melody, tempo, dynamics and form.
Each element will be explained by the teacher one at a time. The teacher will have to model the
right application of elements in the song and will ask the students to do it so.
E. Generalization/Application.

What kind of music do you like to listen to? Why?

F. Activity

Divide the class into four groups. Each group will relate the elements of music through
presenting a song.
