To Whom it may concern:

I had the privilege of knowing Otavio as a student for AP Calculus AB. Otavio has a
number of personality traits and people skills that make him unique and a great
candidate to take Calculus 2 (BC) at the college.

Otavio is a hard worker who is very conscientious about his grade. He is able to follow
directions, ask questions when unsure, and is very teachable. Otavio finished last
semester with a 4.0 GPA and currently has a total GPA of 4.2. The dedication it takes to
maintain such high grades in demanding and rigorous classes shows what type of
student Otavio is. He is friendly, well liked by all peers and teachers. He carries himself
in a respectable manner and always comes prepared.

I believe that Otavio will succeed in Calculus 2 (BC); he maintained an A average in my

class. He always did his homework and scored well on exams we took in class. AP
Calculus AB is equivalent to the Calculus 1 course at the college. For this reason, I
recommend Otavio to take Calculus 2 (BC).

It is a pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Otavio. There is no doubt in my

mind that Otavio will have an extremely productive future and succeed at anything he
pursues.
