I am writing to highly recommend Kyle Bogner for the position of intervention specialist
at Olentangy Local Schools. I have had the pleasure of mentoring and working with Kyle
for the past two years, during which time I have been continually impressed with his
dedication, work ethic, and genuine passion for education.

Kyle has been our building sub at OHS for the past two years. He had to adjust daily to
various environments and classrooms. There were times he went in to a classroom with
no sub plans and was able to successfully step in. I have had the opportunity to observe
his commitment to building a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. He
consistently demonstrates an unwavering dedication to his role, going above and
beyond to ensure that every student feels valued, respected, and included. His
adaptability and willingness to learn have been key factors in his success, and he has
repeatedly shown a willingness to seek help when needed, allowing him to continuously
grow and improve in his role.

During the summer, Kyle also served as a teacher at the intervention academy, where
he excelled in working with students who required additional support. His ability to plan
and execute engaging and effective educational activities attests to his creativity and
resourcefulness. Whether it was designing educational games or organizing interactive
group projects, Kyle consistently demonstrated his innate talent for creating a fun and
stimulating learning environment.

In addition to his exceptional work as a teacher, Kyle has also proven to be an

outstanding mentor to other staff members. His positive attitude, strong communication
skills, and natural ability to connect with others make him an invaluable asset to any
educational institution. I have no doubt that Kyle possesses the unique combination of
skills, compassion, and knowledge that is necessary to succeed as an intervention
specialist at Olentangy Local Schools.

In conclusion, it is without hesitation that I recommend Kyle for the position of

intervention specialist. He has consistently proven himself to be a hardworking,
dedicated, and talented individual, who is more than capable of making a significant and

First, I am very honored to be writing a letter of recommendation for Kyle Bogner; I
have had the privilege of working side by side with Mr. Bogner throughout this school year.
Kyle has stepped up and filled a huge void in our department, he has been our long-term
substitute since one of my co-workers has been out on maternity leave. Mr. Bogner has
demonstrated very high character traits as both an educator and a resource to our
department over the past few months. These include but are not limited to work ethic,
leadership, dedication, passion and perseverance. He always has a wonderful attitude
every day. Having been able to work closely with Kyle, I can say with confidence that Kyle
embodies all of the high characteristics that your school district would look for in a teaching
candidate. Kyle has a tremendous grasp of what it takes to succeed as an employee in your
school district.
Kyle is an outstanding candidate for any Intervention Specialist opening and has
demonstrated his abilities over the past two years of teaching as a substitute at Olentangy
High School. Kyle is constantly putting his students first and doing everything he can do to
help them in all of their classes. He has done a fantastic job of building relationships with all
of his students and staff. While this has been a challenging role this year with many
changes to his role, Mr. Bogner has done an outstanding job of adjusting and adapting. He
has found creative ways to keep his students engaged and service each student's needs. In
challenging times true leadership is shown and that is exactly what Mr. Bogner has done
this school year. His never give up attitude is one that will help him succeed in education no
matter the challenges that present themselves. Kyle has gained meaningful experience in
many different general education classrooms, SLC, and inclusion classrooms. Kyle has
taught students with a variety of different needs, including but not limited to Autism, Down
Syndrome, Epilepsy, Fragile X Syndrome, and selectively mute students requiring
alternative modes of communication. Mr. Bogner has also taught SIA during the summers
where he developed lesson plans, tracked IEP goals and communicated with parents.

In closing, it is again my absolute honor to be writing this letter of recommendation

for Kyle. I hope you strongly consider Mr. Bogner for a teaching position in your district.
There is no doubt that he would be an outstanding addition to your district. Whatever
position Kyle would be asked to fill within the district I am confident in his ability to do so. I

It is my honor to recommend Kyle Bogner for the position of Intervention Specialist. I met Kyle
when I began working at Olentangy High School. He works in the building as a substitute
teacher as he prepares for his career as an Intervention Specialist. Whenever Kyle has a free
moment he spends it in my Daily Living Skills Classroom. He always goes above and beyond.

Kyle has built a special rapport with all of the students in my room. He goes out of his way to
get to know every student and does an amazing job working with them. He frequently will eat
lunch with the students in the cafeteria just so he has the opportunity to spend time with them.

Not only has Kyle built strong relationships with the students and staff at Olentangy High
School, he is also an extremely hard worker and dedicated to giving each student a meaningful
experience during lessons and activities. Kyle has helped with lessons, daily living skills
activities, field trips and so much more. On days that I was not at school and Kyle filled in as the
substitute teacher, his calm demeanor and adaptability ensured students did not feel anxious or
uncomfortable with changes to the normal routine. Whenever needed, he would come up with
outstanding lessons quickly and effortlessly that met the needs of our students perfectly.

It has been my pleasure to work with Kyle. His enthusiasm, positive attitude, patience,
willingness to ask questions, and desire to seek feedback will allow him to be a successful
teacher. These traits helped him immediately gain the respect of our faculty and the students in
our classroom. His professionalism and maturity allow him to handle difficult situations with
calmness and patience. I believe Kyle will quickly integrate into any building and be a valued
addition to your school.
