To Whom It May Concern:

It is without reservation that I recommend Angelica Soza for any scholarships for which
she may qualify. I met Angelica in 2013 as a student in my Yearbook Class at Golden
Valley HS. She took her leadership role very seriously in order to produce the highest
quality yearbook as possible. She was a major contributor to the success of the yearbook
due to her ability to lead and work with a team, set and meet goals, and her dedication
to meeting deadlines.
Angelicas achievements in academics are testament to her dedication to school and the
advancement of her learning. While taking classes, she is also a member of the
Academic Decathlon, which won the county competition. She contributed 7 out of the 47
medals won at the competition. She is also involved in a variety of clubs, such as Poetry,
Key, Keep it Classy, and Chess. She is a volunteer at a local retirement home and the
local Head Start. With all she has dedicated, she still manages to hold a 4.3 GPA.
I am impressed she holds education in high regard. She is an aggressive learner and
continually strives to produce not only what is expected from me, but also her peers.
She is an ideal example of a student who is well mannered and motivated, yet allows
herself to be open for criticism and suggestions from teachers and peers while striving to
learn and succeed in all her endeavors. She aspires to become a Speech Pathologist and
work with disabled children, her work on campus with PAL has encouraged her to
pursue this career.
As previously stated, I strongly recommend Angelica Soza. I believe her organization and
ability to think outside the box will be a positive attribute that will augment her future
endeavors.
