To Whom It May Concern,

It is with great honor that I write this recommendation letter for Nelly Saldana. As Nelly’s
Leadership teacher for the past two years, I have witnessed first hand how she is a prominent
example of a student who suprasses all expectaions in academics and in character as a leader.

Nelly is a extremely well rounded student at Buhach Colony High School. Nelly has left a firm
print here at Buhach as an exemplary student in character. She is hard working, persistent,
honest, friendly, open-minded and reliable. In many situations, Nelly was the first to volunteer
and is always found staying through lunch to finish and complete projects. Our Leadership class
would not have accomplished as much as we have without Nelly’s assistance. It is extremely
evident that Nelly is highly involved and passionate about the betterment of students and staff
here at our school.

Nelly has also managed her time wisely and excel academically. Being in Leadership requires
many hours of outside participation after school hours. There are many mandatory games that
sometimes end late on a school night. Leadership students are required to miss class due to
helping on campus or activities and must be able to make up the work. With Nelly’s involvement
she has maintained a 3.96 GPA which shows she is able to accommodate both school work and
activities with ease.

Nelly is looking to pursue a career in the field of AG Vet Science. She has a vision and goal on
how she will attain her career aspirations. She plans on taking a veterinary technician program
through the Junior College and attain a certificate of degree. After achieving her degree, she
plans to work as a veterinary technician while studying to be a veterinarian.

In conclusion, I cannot think of a more sincere, genuine and diligent person to write a
recommendation letter for. I have always been able to count on Nelly where needed; and at
times, depended on Nelly to help complete and facilitate activities and projects at Buhach
Colony High School. Please do not hesitate to contact me if further questions arise.
