I am writing to offer my recommendation of Natalie Haynes. She has worked as a substitute teacher for
Highland Academy Charter School during this school year. I have been thoroughly impressed with her work
and am pleased to offer a strong positive recommendation for her.

She has worked in various classes on our campus from elementary through grade 8. She has shown a
consistent ability to manage classrooms effectively and implement the lesson plans provided to her. She takes
her work very seriously and holds the students accountable for their work. She is friendly and approachable,
both to students and staff members, and is always positive and upbeat. She has a clear sense of appropriate
student behavior and manages each class effectively so as to get the most out of each student. She also has a
clear sense of when to involve administration and has done so effectively when the situation required it.

She has been among our most reliable and dependable substitutes this year. She has worked several times on
short notice and has handled everything we have sent her way with poise and professionalism . Her work ethic
is excellent and she always completes tasks to her very best ability.

I am confident she will be an excellent classroom teacher and recommend her as a strong candidate for any
teaching position . We look forward to continuing to work with her this year and wish her the very best in her
