Dear Sir,

This is to formally express the intent of the undersigned to compete in the ranking and selection
process, and to hopefully be permanently appointed as a Full-Time TEACHER I specifically in
Junior High School Department, be it in any Grade Level beginning school year 2020-2021 in
Muntinlupa National High School-Main Located at NBP Reservation, Poblacion, Muntinlupa City.
I am a LET-passer since September 29, 2017 and who has 1 year of teaching experience.

This application comes with the intent to share the teacher-applicant’s specific knowledge, skills,
attitude, expertise, and relevant experiences that I gained in my (1) one years in service. I am a proud
product of public schools since I was in Kinder until I finished my college degree in Negros Oriental
State University. It is the key that opened my eyes to pursue that someday I wanted to be a public-
school teacher. It is not the salary that matters most to me, but the students who has been my
inspiration since the start of my journey as a teacher that despite of all the hardships they still find a
way to push their studies. I promised myself that in perfect time if my teachers before helped me to
became the person that I am today, I also wanted to do it to my future students in your institution. I
wanted to impart all of the knowledge that I have for the students to be more productive and to be
more socially competitive citizen of our nation.

I can say that I also have the attributes of the values that a good teacher must possess. A good teacher
is enthusiastic, friendly, easy-going, and able to develop rapport with learners. I am committed to my
work that I focuses more on the needs of the students, working with passion, keen to uphold the
institution’s values and enthusiastic about work and about teaching. As a teacher I also encourage and
appreciate diversity wherein I do not stereotype or speak negatively to others, nurture and encourages
diversity and seeks and understanding of, and respect for people diverse backgrounds. Respect is the
key word that my mom taught me that I also wanted to impart to my students. I encourage input from
others, listening deeply and giving credit for their contributions. I will also act with integrity, provides
a model of high ethical standards and shows a caring attitude towards my students and my colleagues.
The values that I also have are; I motivate students to achieve their goals, provide constructive
feedback, and monitor progress of students and foster their success. Lastly, I firmly believe that a
good value that a teacher must have are he encourages an open and trusting learning environment,
fosters critical thinking and encourages creative work. Experience has taught me how to build strong
relationships with any departments in an organization. I have the ability to work within a team as well
as cross-team. I believe that your school would give me the opportunity to learn more things in my
chosen field and that it would hone my teaching skills further.

The eagerness to participate in the next rounds of the selection process for Teachers 1 is likewise
herein expressed.
