Advantages of face to face interview

Face-to-face interviews help with more accurate screening.


The interviewer is the one that has control over the interview and can keep the
interviewee focused and on track to completion.
Face-to-face interviews can no doubt capture an interviewees emotions and
behaviors.
Additional questions can be used to collect detailed information.
Interviewer can help the participant to understand the question.

Disadvantages of face to face interview

Costs time (duration of fieldwork) and money.


Stage fright of interviewers and respondents risk to give advice during the
interview.
Unknowingly manipulation possible.
Respondents might feel uneasy about the anonymity of their responses.
Sometimes the employees might feel uncomfortable to answer, because the

Although this method has advantages and disadvantages as well, this will help to collect
more accurate primary data which will help to do the survey successfully.
