Waksman Student Scholars Research Program 2014-2015
A collaboration with Johns Hopkins University and Rutgers University involving the use of the DNA
Sequencing Analysis Program (DSAP) for genomic analysis of the Wolffia arrhiza Duckweed plant.

I am a published scientist in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database
as a result of this project.

Internship at RxBiosciences Summer 2015 -Winter 2016

This internship gave a chance to work on a research project that entails
exposure to the biochemical, molecular, and analytical techniques that scientist,
engineers, and researcher all over the world use today.

Learning Assistant Spring 2017-Present

A Learning Assistant (LA) provides classroom assistance, mini-lessons,
tutoring and other learning support in the classroom and laboratory in a variety of
courses across all Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields at

Community Service and Extracurricular Activities
Project ARC - Maryland Ambassador / Maryland Founder 2013-2015
Established Maryland chapter of Project ARC, a national non-profit group, with almost 40
chapters across 18 states. Contributed to the national $35,000 in monetary and in-kind donations
for humanitarian causes in Gaza, Haiti, Pakistan, Cameroon, and India.

Operation Cure Founder & President 2013-Present

Organized an out of school club in which friends and family gather to work for a greater cause.
We built up from nothing to a group with over 20 dedicated members who have successfully and
collaboratively, in our first project raised over $700 for cancer patients in Africa by selling
bracelets.
