Essay: My Tourist experience in Margarita Island

Last vacation I took a trip to Margarita Island, in Venezuela. I visited many
beaches, castles, and temples, and did a lot of amazing activities. However, while I
was there, I realized that this wonderful island is suffering from the bad behavior that
tourists have during their stay. From this adventure, I can tell that tourists can really
hurt a place like Margarita.

The tourists in the Margarita Island cause a lot of pollution in the environment.
Every day there are less beaches usable because the hordes of tourists that travel on
season vacation hurt the environment, and soon the beaches will be unusable. They
throw a lot of garbage and contaminate the few drinking water supplies.

The wastewater pipess system is very old and the construction of more buildings
and malls for tourism saturates it. Each year on rainy season, the floods and
landslides break a lot of wastewater pipes and these waters contaminate the
environment. Many people complain about bad odors and the diseases cause it.

its necessary to create conscience and teach all the tourists to enjoy, but also to
care and maintain the Margarita island.. Also it should to improve or replace the old
wastewater pipes by a system that provede efficiently the service each year.
Remember that a good environment up to each of us.
