Studying habits

What are studying habits?

Studying habits are the behaviors used when preparing for tests or learning academic
material.

1. Routine- e is a regular process or course of action.

Now I will tell you 3 studying habits which are good for building studying routine.

First good studying habit is to chose which is your style of learning. It is important to
know that there are many different learning styles. For example, some people learn
faster by looking at some videos, while others learn faster when they listen to
someone. It is known that there are 7 types of learning styles.
Now I will show you all of them.
visual learners learn best when looking at pictures
Auditory learners prefer using music, sounds or both.
Phsyical learners prefer using the body, sense of touch and hands.
Logical learners desire to use logic and systems.
Verbal learners will prefer using words in writing and speech.
Social learners will prefer to learn with other people or in groups.
Solitary learners are able to learn best alone.

2. Notes- a brief record of points or ideas written down as an aid to memory.

Second studying habit is taking good notes. Every student should take notes in the
way that when he looks at them he knows where to find informations which are
important for him. My advice is that you write just important informations because
later it will be easier to understand and learn. This also depends on your learning
style because for some people it is better to draw pictures than to write something.

3. Progress- develop towards an improved or more advanced condition.

The last studying habit which I will recommend to you is to tracking your progress.
After you have followed all the steps which should provide u better studying skills you
should see if your grades changed. If they did it means your progress is good and
you should continue studying in the way which u found out is best for you.

At the end of my presentation I would like to tell you more words which are connected
to my topic: distractions, plan, tutor, success, time.
