Experience

For the last few years, parallel to my quest of

finishing my Master's at Wayne State University (WSU), I
have been working through various educational
experiences at various schools.
I worked at an ADAPTIVE PE POOL as a
temporary PARA-PRO.
Additionally, I worked as a temporary bilingual
paraprofessional for a schools ESL Department to assist
English learners (ELs) students with special learning
needs with their language development.
I also worked at other schools in Wayne county as a
general paraprofessional to help meet the individual
needs of students.
Furthermore, I worked as a Spanish immigrant family
liaison to facilitate communication and relationship
between a school district and the student family
community. Relationships are important to reach
common goals.
I helped with registration at a district to facilitate
communication between parents and administration plus
more. I did this to expand my experience as an educator
to assist English learners (ELs)students with special
learning needs with their language development.
Lastly, with the guidance of one of my mentor teachers, I
also worked with students with special learning needs
by providing her with one-on one help with reading to
expand understanding. The student showed immediate
improvement on the test. It was great to see!
